As a follow up to Brother Greg’s post on the border security broohaha:

“With the exception of the U.S., there are more international terrorist organizations active in Canada than anywhere else in the world,” Senator Ken Salazar, a Colorado Democrat, said after hearing how government investigators clandestinely carried red bags into the United States from Canada.

You have to wonder what data backs this up. What is ‘active’? Why don’t the papers ever point out the holes in these sound bites? And if Canada is some sort of multi-cultural militant hangout, who’s fault is that? They would not be in Canada due to the proximity to the North Pole. Maybe their foreign money went further in Canada. If that’s the case, there may be an exodus south with the US Dollar on the decline.
