Texas has released the results of an 18 month study into excess reports, apparently there are too many-
“The Texas State Library and Archives Commission is declaring there are too many state reports. It says so in a 668-page report.”
They found 1600 standard reports that state employees needed to fill out and estimate they’ve missed some. Apparently as many as 400 of them are filled out even though the laws or agencies they are attached or sent to no longer exist.
