I very often get excited about stupid crap. And today is another one of those occasions. I’ve known about velvet paintings for years. I mean they are right up there with ship pictures with the string riggings, dogs playing poker, and wolves howling at the moon in terms of awesome art. The gold standard for the medium is undoubtedly Velvet Elvis (velvet Ensign Crusher comes in a distant second). 
So imagine my excitement when I find there is a velvet “American Tabloid Heroes Collection” out there! OMFG that is just too wonderful to believe! I’m gonna collect them all!
